Festival Story

Rooted in the vibrancy of Vietnamese street life, Saigon Nights on the Lake blended heritage music showcases, chef-led tastings, áo dài fashion walks, and community dialogues to spotlight modern Vietnamese identity in Canada.

Guiding Narrative

We framed each program as a journey from the Mekong Delta to Toronto’s waterfront. Culinary legends like Chef Nguyễn Thị Hạnh curated regional menus while choreographer Tuan Le staged modern interpretations of the traditional lion dance.

Sunday

Lotus Lantern Concert

Huỳnh Anh and a 30-person choir led nostalgic ballads before floating lotus lanterns shimmered across Lake Ontario.
